Terms of Service – Wakey

1. Introduction

Welcome to Wakey, a mobile application developed and owned by LAJON ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using Wakey (the "App"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you should not use the App.

2. Eligibility

The App is open for general use. However:

You must be at least the minimum age required by applicable law in your country to use the App, or have obtained verifiable permission from your parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Wakey complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

3. Our Service

Wakey is an alarm and wake-up assistance application that may require users to complete missions or tasks in order to dismiss alarms. These missions may include physical movements, taking photos, solving puzzles, or other wake-up challenges designed to help you start your day.

The App is provided as an independent service by LAJON.

4. How It Works

Wakey allows you to create alarms and optionally attach missions or challenges that must be completed to dismiss them. Features may include:

Alarm Scheduling: Set alarms with custom times, sounds, and repeat schedules.
Wake-Up Missions: Motion-based tasks (e.g., push-ups, steps), photo-based tasks (e.g., taking a picture of the sky or stepping outside), or other interactive challenges.
Progress Tracking & Streaks: Monitor your consistency, completion history, and maintain wake-up streaks.
Premium Features: Enhanced alarm experiences, additional missions, and advanced customisation options available via subscription.

Some features require device permissions including notifications, camera, motion sensors, or storage. You may grant or revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings, though doing so may limit App functionality.

5. Subscriptions & Purchases

Certain features of Wakey may be offered as paid services, including premium features or subscriptions.

All purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are governed by their respective billing and payment policies.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled in advance according to the rules of the platform you purchased through.
We do not directly store your payment card details.

6. Acceptable Use

When using Wakey, you agree not to:

Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or prohibited purposes.
Attempt to hack, interfere with, or disrupt the App or its underlying infrastructure.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, copy, or exploit the App beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
Misuse missions, features, or rewards in a fraudulent or abusive way (e.g., falsifying mission completion).
Use the App in any way that may harm LAJON, other users, or third parties.

7. Health and Safety Disclaimer

Wakey may include physical, movement-based, audio-based, or task-based alarm dismissal features. You are solely responsible for using the App safely and appropriately.

LAJON is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, damages, or losses — including personal injury, property damage, or adverse health outcomes — resulting from the use of Wakey. This includes, but is not limited to, consequences arising from:

Performing physical missions upon waking (e.g., push-ups, movement tasks)
Missed alarms or alarms that fail to trigger due to device settings, system interruptions, or other factors
Loud alarm sounds or sudden audio output
Any device-related issues or interruptions

Wakey is intended as a productivity and lifestyle tool only. It does not guarantee that you will wake up on time or that alarms will function without interruption in all circumstances. Do not rely solely on Wakey for time-critical situations.

8. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, features, code, designs, content, and other elements of Wakey are the exclusive property of LAJON unless otherwise stated. They are protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or use of any App content is strictly prohibited.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Wakey is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the App will always be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or available at all times. Alarm functionality depends on device operating system behaviour, battery settings, notification permissions, and other factors outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LAJON disclaims all warranties and will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the App.

10. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how your information — including alarm data, mission data, photos, and sensor data — is collected, used, and protected.

11. Refunds & Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are governed by the platform through which you purchased Wakey subscriptions or services.

App Store / Google Play Purchases: Subject to Apple's and Google's respective refund and cancellation policies.
Where required by applicable law, mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

12. Updates to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updates take effect once published within the App or on this page. Continued use of Wakey after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Termination of Use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Wakey without prior notice if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, or engage in activity that is harmful to other users or third parties.
