1. Introduction

Welcome to PrivLock, a mobile application developed and owned by LAJON ("we," "us," "our"). PrivLock provides Instagram profile analytics — including follower tracking, unfollower detection, visitor insights, and engagement metrics. Protecting your privacy is central to how we build and operate the App. This Privacy Policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and your choices.

By using PrivLock, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. What Data We Access and Collect

a) Instagram Account Data

To provide analytics, PrivLock accesses your Instagram account data with your explicit permission via a secure login flow. This includes:

• Your public profile information (username, profile photo, bio, follower/following counts)
• Follower and following lists — to detect changes, unfollowers, and new followers
• Activity insights such as engagement metrics and profile visit data (where available through the platform)

We never ask for or store your Instagram password. Authentication is handled exclusively through Instagram's own secure login mechanisms. We access only the data necessary to deliver the analytics features you use.

b) App Usage & Device Data

We may collect non-identifying technical information to keep the App stable and improve your experience:

• Device type, operating system version, language, and App version
• Feature usage events (e.g., which reports you view, session duration, screens visited)
• Crash logs and performance diagnostics

c) Subscription & Purchase Metadata

If you subscribe to PrivLock Premium via the App Store or Google Play, we may receive limited transaction metadata from the platform, such as subscription status, product identifiers, and renewal timestamps. We do not receive your full payment details.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we access to:

• Generate follower analytics, unfollower tracking, and engagement reports specific to your account
• Display trends, charts, and historical insights within the App
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve App performance and reliability
• Detect and prevent misuse, abuse, or fraudulent activity
• Manage your subscription and handle support or refund requests

Your Instagram data is used only to provide analytics directly to you. We do not use it for advertising profiling, and we do not sell it to third parties.

4. Data Storage & Retention

• Instagram Account Data: Follower/following snapshots are stored to enable historical comparison and trend analysis. We retain this data only as long as your account is active in the App. You can delete your data by disconnecting your Instagram account and uninstalling the App.
• Usage & Diagnostics: Retained for as long as necessary to maintain service quality and fix issues, per our provider policies.
• Subscription Data: Retained as required for billing compliance and dispute resolution.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data or Instagram account information. We may share limited data only in the following circumstances:

• Analytics & Crash Reporting Providers: Tools such as Firebase and Google Analytics may process device and usage data to help us improve App performance. These providers operate under their own privacy policies.
• Legal Obligations: If required by applicable law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.
• Refund / Dispute Handling: If you raise a refund dispute via Apple or Google, we may provide limited, non-sensitive usage confirmation (e.g., whether the subscription was activated, usage timestamps) to the platform. We never share your Instagram content or profile data for this purpose.

6. Third-Party Services

PrivLock uses the following third-party services which may collect device-level or usage data:

• Firebase (Google): Crash reporting, performance monitoring, and analytics
• Google Analytics for Firebase: Aggregated usage analytics to understand feature engagement

PrivLock is an independent third-party tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in partnership with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Instagram is a registered trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

• Secure, token-based authentication for Instagram access — no password storage
• Encrypted data transmission between the App and our servers
• Access controls and security best practices for stored data

No system is 100% secure. You should keep your device and App updated and report any suspected security issues to support@lajon.co.

8. Your Choices & Controls

• Revoke Instagram Access: You can disconnect your Instagram account from the App at any time through the App's settings, which stops further data retrieval.
• Delete Your Data: Uninstalling the App and disconnecting your account will stop ongoing data collection. Contact us at support@lajon.co to request deletion of stored analytics data.
• Analytics Opt-Out: You may adjust analytics and tracking permissions in your device settings where applicable.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

• Access to personal data we hold about you
• Correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)
• Objection to or restriction of certain data processing
• Data portability where applicable

10. Children's Privacy

Continued use of PrivLock after a policy update means you accept the revised terms. If changes are significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
